White Lace

I love a white lace dress for summer. It feels so refreshing to wear something so simple that has so much detail to it. A white lace dress is one item that should be in everyone's closet. It's perfect for dressing up for night time events or wearing it casual for the day time. Below are some pretty options for a white summer lace dress.

Summer Totes

Summer Totes

1. Topshop
2. Rachel Roy
3. French Connection
4. Forever 21
5. ASOS
6. Tory Burch
7. Madewell
8. Kate Spade

A fun and functional summer tote is a must have for any girl on the go. The best thing about these totes is that they can be used every day for work and then also be practical on the weekends for trips to the beach and errands. I love the large long shapes which makes it great for stuffing all your essentials into one bag. These bags aren't just functional, but also really cute to carry around all day. Having a fun bright colored tote like the French Connection one or the Forever 21 lips print would definitely put a smile on my face. :)

Lucky Flats

One of my absolutely favorite pair of flats are by Lucky Brand. These very simple flats come in so many different fun colors and are so comfortable to wear, unlike most flats I have tried. I currently have three pairs (Rose Cream, Magenta, and Mint) and will definitely be adding more colors to my collection. I also really like these pattern ones for summer. The basic stitching and sleek design make these a closet essential. I love to wear mine with skinny jeans and summer dresses. They are a great way to work color into your everyday outfit, and are always my go to shoes year round. I purchased these shoes in both my regular size 6 and in a 6 1/2. I definitely feel more comfortable when wearing a half a size up. I really recommend these flats for anyone who needs something basic that can be worn with almost anything!

Snapshots

I came across this cute website called Polaroin and thought it would be fun to share a few snapshots of my favorite things. In my back yard my mom has a big fenced in garden where every year she grows fruits and vegetables. One of my favorite things that comes back every year are her strawberries. These are probably the best strawberries I have ever eaten. They are bright red on the inside and out, and super juicy and sweet. The other day I was walking past Urban Outfitters on 5th Avenue and decided to take a look around. They had so many cute things for summer. I wanted to buy everything! I ended up getting this blouse with a bow on the front, and this adorable flower skirt. I'm obsessed with this skirt, and it's on sale! I am definitely going to be wearing it a lot this summer. Next is a photo of my Juicy Tube collection I recently came across. I've never been a big fan of lip gloss, especially really sticky ones, but the soft and bright pinks will be fun to wear this summer, and when worn with the clear gloss over them it takes the stickiness away. Finally, my last favorite thing of the moment is my Ted Baker bow stud earrings. These earrings are so pretty and sparkly. I love to keep them out on display. They can be worn everyday or just to add a glamorous feel to an outfit for a night out. If anyone is interested, I am selling a brand new, never worn green pair here for about half the price! Hope everyone has a good weekend! :)

Blouse Sanctuary Clothing, Pants Rock & Republic, Necklace Ted Baker, Bag Brahmin (similar), Flats Lucky Brand

Hi everyone. This has definitely been a crazy week weather wise. Cold mornings, hot afternoons with short periods of heavy rain and then back to sunny weather. Immediately after I took these photos it turned from sunny to very dark and heavy rain. Then it got sunny again, and a few hours later started to rain again. It was crazy and it made it difficult to decide what to wear. Since it's usually cold in the mornings and I get up early for my summer class, I decided to wear my black Rock & Republic skinny pants that I am in LOVE with. These are my absolute favorite pair of black skinny pants. They are so so versatile and go well with everything (plus they are on sale here!). I recently got this Sanctuary Clothing blouse that is great to wear to work, or for an everyday outfit. I love how lightweight the fabric is and how it's loose and lays beautifully. The front can be slightly boxy, so I like to tuck it into my pants for a better fit. I received this Brahmin bag a while ago and have been using it a lot. I love its stiff structure and how it fits my notebooks perfectly. The glossy leather crocodile texture adds a luxurious feel to the bag. If anyone is looking for a great structured bag, I would definitely recommend this one!

Tribal Swim Trend

Tribal Beach Essentials

Coverup

The fun summer tribal trend is hitting swimwear! Unique prints, zigzag, and exotic animals, all add to the tribal free spirit feel. Fringe, tassels, beads, braids, lace, summer knits, and more, make this tribal theme perfect for a summer laid back vibe. The main colors for this trend are purple, green, brown, and pinks. These ethnic prints will definitely liven up your beach outfit and are perfect for mixing and matching with solid colors. Layer on beaded bracelets or necklaces, a big floppy hat, sunnies, and strappy sandals, and you're ready for the beach.

Daisy Print Top

Top NastyGal (similar here, and here), Pants H&M, Bag Michael Kors, Shoes Bamboo

This past weekend it finally started to feel like the beginning of spring and summer with the temperature in the high 80's and low 90's and all the fresh bloomed flowers. Last summer I purchased this daisy top from NastyGal and it soon became one of my favorite tops. I love the thin sheer fabric and the delicate daisy print which creates a soft feminine feel. Unfortunately it is no longer available, however, there are really cute similar options here and here! I paired it with a simple skinny leg pant from H&M in a very pale pink. To add a pop of color to my outfit I wore my Bamboo color block wedges that are perfect for creating a bright and bold statement to any neutral outfit. These wedges also come in a really pretty blue and green color block combo here.  Although the wedges are pretty high, they are surprisingly comfortable as they have a 2 inch platform which makes the almost 5 inch heel much easier to walk in.
