Neutral tops are a wardrobe staple item. When I saw this Sugarlips top I knew it would be perfect for any outfit. I found myself creating multiple looks with this one top. I love the unexpected black color on the back and the small extended part of the fabric in the front and back. The lightweight material makes this one of my go to tops for summer. I paired a basic white and black maxi skirt that added a pop of red with gold accessories to complete the look.
I was able to create a completely different feel by replacing my maxi skirt with coral skinny jeans. Just want to show you how effortless and versatile this top is to wear!

Recently, I've been finding myself wearing my jean vest all the time. Denim vests are a stylish add on item for summer. With its light weight feel and relaxed look, this is an item that should be in everyone's closet this season. It's a simple way to add an edgy feel to a girly look. I love to pair mine with a maxi dress, mini skirt, basic tee, or colored jeans and pants. There are so many different styles with fun pockets, cute buttons, zippers, light and dark washes and fringe. I have always admired Olivia Palermo's style as she dresses to impress. She is definitely known to be one who takes fashion risk and is constantly on top of trends. Her style is NYC chic with a mix of classic or edgy pieces. However, lately I have noticed her summer style filled with floral print dresses, colorful skirts, and playful prints. The picture above is one outfit that screams summer casual and can be easy to recreate with a few pieces. Unfortunately, her ruffed Parker shorts were sold out at Nordstrom, but I found the same Parker shorts in a different color at Zappos. I was also able to find her exact Alice + Olivia orange flats at Nordstrom, and was extremely excited to find out that they are on sale! This outfit was then completed with a basic white blouse, a woven bag, sunnies, and red nail polish. I love this outfit because it is so simple to create. With the pattern shorts and bright colored flats, it can become a standout look!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I've been out of power this past week due to a crazy storm. Last week while browsing through Fashion Snoops, I came across different bohemian looks that were calling my name. I adore girly flowing silhouettes, gypsy skirts, and maxi dresses that are not only perfect for the hot weather, but are great for creating a bohemian aura. One thing I love about a boho vibe is the natural feel with fabrics such as crinkle linen, suede, and chiffon. Openwork and mesh knits also add an edgy and raw feel to any boho look. Create a simple laid-back outfit with bold florals, paisley prints and other ethnic inspired patterns. Keep colors neutral with sand tones and beached pink. For an extra touch, wear your hair in loose waves with a side braid, or some colorful flowers.
