I love nail polish! Who doesn't? It's like make up for your nails, easy to change with your mood, outfit, or for a special occasion. When I was younger, I would have so much fun experimenting, I don't think I ever wore just one color on my fingers. Can you believe I recently came across an old family photo of my five-year-old self speckled with rainbow nails? Instead of going crazy and reverting back to kindergarden, I decided to add just a pop of color on one nail. I used Essie Turquoise & Caicos on my ring finger, and Merino Cool on the rest of my nails. I like these colors because they compliment each other in a cool gray palette, perfect for winter!

One of my must haves for winter is a stand out, stylish hat. Not only are hats functional for staying warm, but they can be a great accessory that goes with anything. There are so many different types of hats; floppy, beret, wide brim, fedora, faux fur, pom poms, feathers, buttons, etc. Don't just go for a simple black beanie, change it up with a interesting style in a pretty color. I love all the variations of the Sh*t Girls Say videos. I came across this video about Sh*t Fashion Girls Say, and I think it is absolutely hilarious. I just had to share it with everyone! Hope everyone has a good weekend :)
Having extremely long and thick hair can be difficult to manage sometimes. Many days I find it easiest to put my hair in a messy bun on to of my head. Messy buns are a simple and quick way to get your hair out of your face. After searching a few websites, I collected images of girls with messy buns that still look chic. You can even add cute accessories such as a headband or a sparkly clip for a more put together look.
The past few weeks I have been using philosophy products that I received awhile ago. This is my first experience with philosophy products and I thought I would share my thoughts.

- The Amazing Grace Shampoo And Shower Gel has a nice fresh scent and definitely seemed to make my skin soft. However, I have thick hair and do not feel that it was able to clean my hair thoroughly.
- Amazing Grace Perfumed Firming Body Moisturizer is a lightweight moisturizer that brightened and softened my skin. The downside was it took a little while for it to absorb.
- Real Purity Facial Cleanser is an excellent product. It is a gentle face wash that helps remove makeup and does not irritate or leave a film on my skin.
- The Hope In A Jar Eye And Lip Cream did not irritate my eyes. I do not think I need eye creme yet, but it do think it has left my skin feeling firmer. I didn't notice a difference when I used this product on my lips, but I apply other chap stick everyday as well.
- I applied the Hope In A Jar Daily Moisturizer everyday after washing my face. I personally did not like the scent of the moisturizer, but it did leave my skin glowing.
- I loved the Time On Your Hands Creme, it's a great thick formula perfect for cracked and chapped hands from the winter. I put this on top of my hands, and it kept them soft and moisturized even with the hard winter weather.
- The Save The Nails Cuticle Creme have without a doubt made my nails look much healthier. Although like most cuticle cremes the product takes awhile to absorb into nail and cuticles.
- Lastly, the Hope In A Jar Moisture Mask is another great product. I used this a few times a week. I would leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse off and it immediately leaves my skin silky smooth.
Overall these are great products especially for winter dryness and deep moisturizing. Besides not liking some of these products scents, I would absolutely recommend them!

If you are aware of Piperlime, (I love piperlime) then the picture above will be familiar. I am currently loving the bright pump trend. Although winter is still very much here, we can still have fun with color. Shoes are a simple way to add a fun pop of color to any outfit. Suede and patent closed toe pumps are perfect for winter weather. I have noticed many celebrities wearing neutral colored outfits with fun colored shoes. This is a perfect way to make a statement with your shoes!
I have always adored Blake Lively's style. She has a way of consistently looking chic, effortless, and trendy. In everyday life or on the red carpet, she always looks put together. I like that she isn't afraid to try new trends, take fashion risks, and style herself. I was so inspired by a photo I recently came across, that I decided to put together a simple everyday outfit that can provide you with that "laid back" Blake Lively style. I really like that she paired all black with a few metallic gold accents.
