Stripes are becoming an exciting trend for spring and summer. I haven't attempted to wear stripes until a few weeks ago when I bought a navy blue and white stripe dress. I was always cautious about stripes, but when I tried my dress on, I had a change of heart. I love how playful and casual stripes are for spring and summer. A classic black and white stripe is so simple and easy to accessorize, but you can also have some fun by wearing bright colored stripes, which takes a new approach to traditional stripes. Below are a few items I'm currently obsessing over. Which one do you love?

Print Bikini

I will be heading to Florida next month, and while going through my collection of bikinis, I noticed that a majority of them have prints. I definitely don't need any more bikinis, but I'm loving all these options below. The bright colors, ruffle details, fun patterns, and geometric shapes make these bikinis perfect for the beach or pool. What do you think about these print bikinis?

A Little Love

Teal, turquoise, light blue, aquamarine, baby blue, or any shade of blue, is a must have color for this season. These shades are a refreshing change from winter's drab and bland colors. Lighten up your wardrobe with touches of cool blues. Here are a few blue items I am currently loving for spring and summer. Check out my Wishlist board on Pinterest for more items I love!

Polish and Platforms

I love a cute and comfy wedge in the summer. Wedges are one of my favorite type of heels, especially since they are easy to walk in, and can be worn for an extended period of time without hurting.  They are definitely versatile, as they can be worn during the day or at night. Whether you want to add a pop of color, gain some height, or just want to dress up your look, these four wedges might be just what you are looking for. However, any open toe summer shoe isn't complete without a pedicure! Below are four fun summer colors that I can't wait to try. I matched each shoe with a complementing nail polish color that will make your shoes and your toes pop!

Lately, I have been inspired by the color yellow. The vibrant, playful, and fun shade has been catching my eye everywhere I go. With spring in bloom, tree leaves growing back, flowers blossoming, and the weather warming up, I am getting in the mindset of fun spring days. I am excited about wearing girly dresses, spending days at the beach, and relaxing with friends and family. I will definitely be waking up my wardrobe with this notice-me shade of bright yellow. Below I put together a few of my favorite yellow items for under $100!
What color is inspiring you this spring?

Tangerine Tango

A little while back, Sephora and Pantone Universe collaborated to create an amazing new makeup collection. This limited edition collaboration showcases the "color of the year", Tangerine Tango. Although the vibrant color may seem hard to pull off, there are so many different shades to work with every skin tone. This is one of my favorite colors! I haven't attempted to wear the color on my face yet, but I absolutely love it on my nails! The bold color is such a fun accent for your nails, lips, eyes, or cheeks. What do you think of the collaboration and the color?

One Skirt Three Ways

Red is everywhere right now, and this straight line lace skirt is extremely versatile! No matter what look you are going for, this skirt can be transformed to fit any occasion. I created three easy different outfits to wear with this one skirt. You can't go wrong with a red skirt in spring!

Create a structured and polished look with a white tailored blazer, simple tank, and sleek wedges.

Have a laid back vibe by pairing a loose sleeveless blouse, flat sandals, simple black satchel, and fun accessories.

This past week has been a crazy one. Between moving, not having Internet or cable for a week, and finishing up my midterms, I am so happy that spring break is finally here! Now that it is April, and the weather has been slowly getting warmer, I have been crushing on all things neon. I love the vibrant pinks, greens, oranges, purples, yellows, and blues. Wearing something neon is a great way to feel instantly awake and energetic. Since neon colors are so bold, it is best to only wear one piece at a time. Pair your neon items with a neutral color, such as white, black, or gray to tone down the brightness.
